Challenging week and the news continues to be grim. Infection rates are growing daily, soaring actually, in New York City and our hospital network is pushing its limits. I am idling on calm, prepared while working daily with my team to meet short-term needs, struggle to meet financial commitments and begin to apply for small business grant/loan opportunities that are appearing now. The nation is alert to our industry challenge and the peril to employment and business survival in every vertical. Three and one-half million applied for unemployment last week and there is much worse to come. We are buckling down and exploring ways to create incremental income for our talented team of artists, performers and technicians. To that end, I have created a GoFundMe page! Please take a look and share with your family and friends. I realize that no one has extra cash in this drought but even five dollars across the viral spectrum will make a world of difference. Please share this link and help where you can. The Ride’s employees are grateful and I will continue to keep you updated with grit and determination. The Ride’s game is innovation, focus, optimism and survival. Please join with me, The Ride.
