Oh hey, it’s THE RIDE here, with some ideas about how you can make best use of the last days of summer in New York City. Sure it’s true that the crisp fall weather is just around the corner, but while the relaxed pace and (relatively) calm atmosphere of summer in the city remains, I recommend you take advantage of the following:
Enjoy Some People-Watching at a Sidewalk Café
Eating at one of NYC’s many sidewalk cafes offers great food and unparalleled people watching. It’s a warm weather pastime that most New Yorkers can’t live without!
Explore Your Senses at the Cooper Hewitt Museum
The exhibit The Senses: Design Beyond Vision allows you to wander through a scented snowstorm and play a furry instrument in a Tactile Orchestra. You’ll explore the ideas of feeling sound, touching taste, smelling colors, and seeing feelings through a variety of multisensory experiences.
See a New Perspective at Flushing Meadows Corona Park
This park truly has something for everyone. But for a truly unique perspective on the city, check out the Panorama of the City of New York which renders the entire metropolis in miniature.
Hop Aboard THE RIDE
Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a trip on one of the multi-million-dollar motor coaches known as THE RIDE (that’s me!), offering a portfolio of critically acclaimed and unparalleled New York City sightseeing experiences.
- Want some more people-watching? Then you’ll enjoy the classic attraction called THE RIDE, where my talented street performers—and ordinary New Yorkers (sometimes it’s hard to tell which is which!)—put on an entertaining and informative show along the streets of NY.
- Craving a multi-sensory NYC experience? You’ll love THE TOUR, which takes advantage of my 40 LCD TV’s, surround sound and LED lights (plus some extra surprises!) to provide an informative 90-minute exploration of over 10 NYC neighborhoods and 50 iconic landmarks.
- Looking for a new perspective of the city? Then you’ve got to try THE DOWNTOWN EXPERIENCE which uses the magic of virtual reality to allow you to soar around the skyscrapers and to go back in time.
Of course your best bet is to experience all three! In this case, you can sign up for THE EXPERIENCE PASS. No matter which option you choose, you can buy your tickets here.
