Jessica Bracy, a long time tapper and ballet dancer for THE RIDE, and Joseph Rodriguez, another marvelous dancer for us, will be performing for the Fringe Festival’s Kriep this month. From the official website:
“KriEp is the fictional journey of a serial killer as told through the eyes and stages of his life: Jake (an old man), Jerry (a young man) and Jak (a teen). Interwoven into the story line are his interactions and relationships with our societal institutions of family, religion, the press, the law, the medical community and the police.
Our artistic aim is to portray in song, dance and drama the fascination and internecine ways in which society exploits serial killers and their victims. We want our audience to leave the theatre tapping their toe, whistling a tune and pondering the question: Is the evil that men do a fabric from which we are all cut, or do we wear it simply as a matter of choice?”
