Hey there, THE RIDE here with a (somewhat rhetorical) question for you: is there anywhere better in the world to go shopping than in New York City? No? I didn’t think so!
After all, New York has one of the world’s biggest stores: Macy’s. The “decadent reward” (in Sarah Jessica Parker’s words) of Barney’s. Amazing jewels at Tiffany’s and in the Diamond District. Designer boutiques along Madison Avenue and 57th Street. And the store that’s “like no other store in the world”—Bloomingdale’s.
You can shop for exotic seafood in Chinatown. You can browse through all the fresh produce at the Union Square farmers market. You can check out the hottest trends in the fancy chain shops in SoHo. You can even visit a store that sells nothing but buttons.
Frankly, I’m exhausted just thinking about it.
And that’s why my best NYC shopping tip is to take a break from trudging through all those stores and join me on THE RIDE. Set down your shopping bags and rest your feet for a while. Lean back and relax in my plush seats. Be entertained by the sights and sounds of the city, viewed through my panoramic windows. You’ll enjoy some laughter, some music, even some dancing. You’ll learn something new about New York City. And who knows, you might just catch a glimpse of the next store you want to explore, once you emerge from THE RIDE refreshed, energized and ready for more shopping!
