If you’re a big fan of Anderson Cooper like we are, you’re wondering what he’s been up to this summer. We were lucky, because we got to see him. The talk show host and journalist joined THE RIDE recently to experience the Big Apple as he had never before!

Because the RIDE’s seats face the enormous wall of windows that allows our riders to get the biggest, brightest views of 4.2 miles of Midtown, the Theatre District, and Times Square, pedestrians can easily see inside and interact, too. Anderson, famously private, was at first trepidatious about the “fishbowl effect” when he boarded our theatre on wheels. However, by the end of his RIDE, a teambuilding workshop organized by show producers, he was having a ball.
ENTERTAINING THE TALK SHOW HOST
Cheered on by one of our best guides, Jackie, Anderson and his staff were introduced to a world-class dancers from many disciplines, Broadway caliber musical performances, and other hilarious characters (comprised of performers and real people), and more adventures as our coach wheeled around Columbus Circle.
Our performers surprised and delighted Anderson again and again, teaching him new tidbits about the city that never sleeps and incorporating his name into an impromptu rap. Producers, crew, and star of “Anderson Live” all had a blast.
Anderson Live will premier this Monday September 10th. Be sure to tune in all week to see if you can spot THE RIDE on the show. And next time you’re in New York City, stop by our box office at Madame Tussaud’s or grab tickets online for your own experience on THE RIDE!
