It is another day in the parking lot at Red Hook Terminal – glorious Spring,, though. This boring routine is getting to be very tiresome but THE RIDE will soldier forward! Governor Cuomo shared this morning that progress continues to be made against the virus in New York City as hospitalization numbers and mortality rates are off the peak and declining; however, there is still, at least, a month of isolation ahead. Not the time to loosen discipline in social distancing and hygiene.
THE RIDE has applied for the much-touted Congressional relief SBA (small business loan) to assist with putting our staff back to work and off unemployment. So far, it is a slow, disorganized slog on the bank side but THE RIDE remains optimistic that Congress will get to work and approve more dollars and that THE RIDE’s application will move through the bureaucracy and be, ultimately, successful. #hope
In the meantime, THE RIDE talent, in isolation, continues to create original content for your enjoyment – #revolutionizingsightseeing – and to keep our vision optimistic!
Please visit our GoFundMe page and enjoy the performances! If you can, make a small contribution to assist our unemployed family members and encourage their continuing creative growth.
