Olá, it’s THE RIDE here thinking about my favorite summer activities. Of course just like the rest of you, right now I’m feeling the Olympic spirit. And while I won’t be leaving my position as one of New York City’s top attractions and heading to Rio any time soon, I like to think that if there were an Olympic sport that involved snazzy multi-million-dollar motor coaches, I’d be a contender for the gold medal.
OK, I admit that I don’t quite have the speed of Katie Ledecky or Michael Phelps. But really, who does when there’s traffic in Midtown Manhattan? And I might not have the amazing athleticism of Simone Biles, either.
What I do have is the crowd-pleasing entertainment value of Pita Nikolas Taufatofua, the shirtless flag-bearer who became an instant sensation when he totally stole the show at the Olympic Opening Ceremony. I’m told that I’m also sleek and good-looking. And I guarantee you this: if you take THE RIDE, you’ll definitely ooh, aah and applaud with as much enthusiasm as you would if there was a well-oiled Tongan running past you.
So c’mon, make your reservation now for my critically acclaimed and unparalleled NYC interactive sightseeing experience. Watch as the city unfolds through floor-to-ceiling glass windows and stadium-style seating with 40 LCD TV screens, 3,000 LED lights and surround sound.
