THE TOUR is the new offspring of New York’s THE RIDE, which is actually a Broadway Show on wheels and, by far, the best way to see New York City.
THE TOUR is the most LUXURIOUS.
That same patented $1.5 million magnificent motor coach with stadium seating facing to the side with floor to ceiling windows, 40 television monitors and surround sound is what I got to experience when I finally boarded THE TOUR.
From sumptuous, climate-controlled comfort in cushioned theater style seats, THE TOUR uses dazzling multimedia to tell you about the landmarks in front of you while showing you New York’s glorious past.
Did you know that Madison Square Garden has been in four different locations throughout New York City? The third version hosting the iconic moment when Marilyn Monroe sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to John F. Kennedy in 1962.
Thanks to archival footage and the dozens and dozens of television screens, you can see that exhilarating moment up close while looking at the actual building in climate-controlled BLISS.
This, combined with the best professional Tour Guides for miles, is what sets THE TOUR apart from those hop on/hop off bus tours all over the city.
CEO/CCO Richard Humphrey will soon be announcing THE TOUR Downtown, an elaborate amalgam of THE RIDE and THE TOUR as well as the company’s master plan to open a version of THE RIDE in 21 cities over the course of the next 10 years.
Each city will be perfectly unique and I personally can’t wait to try each of them as they launch around the globe!
